Last I played maybe last week it's alive enough to find a lobby. But sometimes there's like maybe 1-3 lobbies open for TDM on off hours. Depends heavily on time zone too. Around 5 am local time I start getting put into EU lobbies (I'm NA). As WW2 came out, two days in a row as a multiplayer servers down. After the disappointment that there is no remastered multiplayer coming i was wondering if the servers are still active with players and what gamemodes are still being played.
